Known for her over the top broadway-esque performance style. Ruby performs her strikingly honest material with an 8 piece soul / R&B band one night, only to be backed by guitar and fiddle the next. Friedman has fronted such bands as Three Alarm Fire, Medicine Rattle and Redd Starr to name a few. Change is featuring many unreleased Ruby Friedman record outtakes and demo tracks never heard by the public until now. Ruby is known to be reclusive, quick-tempered, and self-destructive, often threatening music industry executives with violence, She was last seen dressed as Napoleon throwing cantaloupes into oncoming traffic on Sunset Blvd because she was omitted from the Viper Room guest list. Her whereabouts are unknown at this time, though she is sure to resurface soon.
